The Talent Directory may send you service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the service. For instance, if you receive a new message notifying you of an opportunity/audition, you may receive an email alerting you to that fact.

You may opt out of such emails by contacting us at privacy@the-talent-directory.com. However, The Talent Directory reserves the right to send you notices about your account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications; for example, an email notification that inappropriate/illegal content has been removed from your profile.

The Talent Directory may use information in your Profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as aggregating how many people are in each performer category or for determining how many of our members live in a particular geographical region and therefore personalising advertisements and promotions.

We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions at any time.

• The profiles contained within The Talent Directory are accessible only to professionals that work within the entertainment industries.
  
  
• The Talent Directory is not an agency. It is an online directory.
  
  
• We do not take commission or any other type of payment for any form of employment or other form of contractual agreement that clients gain directly or indirectly as a result of their profile being included within The Talent Directory.
  
  
• We restrict log-in capacity to reputable entertainment companies. We reserve the right to remove the log-in capacity of any entertainment companies that we believe to have behaved improperly.
  
  
• Copyright holders retain all rights over copyrighted material that is included in clients’ profiles. This applies to songwriting and sound recording copyrights contained within MP3 files; it also applies to photographs and all other content.
  
  
• We will not take any responsibility for the content of our clients’ profiles.
  
  
• Any client under the age of eighteen must gain parental consent before creating their profile. We will not accept responsibility for any under-eighteen year olds’ profiles that are uploaded without parental consent.
  
  
• We reserve the right to remove any content from clients’ profiles should we be alerted to the fact that the profiles contain dishonest information.
  
  
• We reserve the right to remove any content from clients’ profiles should we be alerted to the fact that such content infringes the copyright of other parties.
  
  
• We reserve the right to remove any content from clients’ profiles should we be alerted to the fact that the profiles contain offensive, violent or threatening content.
  
  
• We reserve the right to issue clients’ information to companies that provide services or manufacture products that we believe to be of specific relevance to clients’ stated careers of choice.
  
  
• All profiles that are created for The Talent Directory are submitted subject to the terms, conditions and privacy policy listed on this page.
